This 'N That
New Reviews: A handful of new reviews for our 2009 pinot noirs have come in recently. Bloggers Wine Harlots and Beau’s Barrel Room both gave high praise to the wines and to our charitable mission. Check the links for their full write-ups. And Steve Heimoff, who is the West Coast Editor and California wine reviewer for Wine Enthusiast recently named our 2009 Doctor’s Pinot Noir as a “wine of the week”. He said, “Plenty of ripe fruit and full-bodied Santa Lucia character in this ageable wine”.
Quality Social:
We’re pleased to announce that downtown San Diego hotspot Quality Social is now carrying our 2009 Hayley Vineyard Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley. Kerith was just in the restaurant educating the staff on all things Bruliam so make sure you stop in and support this great restaurant – and quiz them on their Bruliam knowledge!
Kerith Invited to Lecture on the Biotechnology of Oenology
On Wednesday April 27th, Kerith will be giving a talk to the PGC 200 life sciences group on her professional transition from medicine to oenology and how all of the years of biology and chemistry are now paying dividends in the vineyard and the winery. The event will include a tasting of our 2009 releases and a light dinner. The event will be open to Bruliam fans, even if you aren’t a part of the group. Details to follow.
